Blase Bonpane (right) was the co-leader of the International March for Peace in Central America, along with the originator of La Marcha, Norway's Toril Eide.
Blase was a force of nature in America's opposition to the murderous campaign against the peasants of Nicaragua by President Reagan and his minions. Here, he is shown with a group of children, probably at a coffee cooperative that we visited.
